The first time I had to work a holiday it was New Years, I was a waiter in a restaurant/pub, so I didn't mind. After I finished I went into the pub where the owner was giving all employees free drinks.

I used to mind working Christmas, but that might have been because I used to work by my self in a Lab with no one else around. However you can't turn a cow off for Christmas so someone had to work that day (it was a dairy Lab).

My family is real cool about what day we do things, so this year I am putting my name down for Christmas and Boxing Day. Due to my brother spending Christmas with the in-laws, we are having Christmas on Christmas eve. Then Christmas breakfast (If I'm there) then stuff on Boxing Day.
