Talking What do you use to listen to music?

Hi all! So what do you use to listen to music?

I have a stereo in my room that I use when I want to listen to the radio. If I'm going to school, I have an iPod Nano (I have a discman and that still works too, but I think it's gathering dust somewhere) and if I'm just on the computer, I use iTunes or Winamp.

Good old fashioned stereo to listen to the radio, but if I want to listen to my own music, I hook up the iPod (to the stereo).

I use a first generation iPod hooked up to a stuffed bear that has a speaker in it when I want to play music for my son during his nap.

ipod nano. I also listen to the radio a lot. I will be very happy when the technology is there where I can listen to internet radio stations on a device as small as a nano.

Or maybe the technology is there and I just don't know about it?

iPod, when I'm away from my computer

I just put my iTunes on shuffle when I'm at my computer.

In the car, I listen to CDs I burned from CDs I have but don't care if they break or get stolen. Everytime I buy a CD I put it on my computer.

Wish I had an ipod adapter thingie for my car

talk about a luddite! I don't have any kind of mp3 player except for my car cd player also plays mp3s. I've never downloaded any music! Guess I'm showing my age....actually, one of the things that comes with aging is that it is harder to multi-task...I don't listen to as much music as I used to b/c I can't do the kind of reading I need to do and have most music playing in the background. It's different back when I had time to weave.

That said, right now I'm listening to my station on Pandora. It's a really cool thing--they call it the "music genome project." You tell it songs/artists you like and it plays similar stuff. Continue to refine it by telling it you like or don't like something...continuous music that's full of surprises! And you can share your "stations" with others. You can find it here: http://www.pandora.com/

I listen to a few radio stations most of the time. I occaisionally will go to an artist's website and see if they have a "player." (Usually www.reginaspektor.com AWESOME!!)
I also listen to a live feed radio show in the afternoons when I'm home and not sleeping. I also have some cd's I listen to once in awhile.
I don't have an ipod/mp3 player. My boyfriend was going to get me one for Christmas last year, but I told him I thought they were silly. So, I have none.

I use to use pandora but it said it wasn't avaliable in Canada anymore, haha. So now, I use last.fm which is absolutely awesome. I have discovered so much new music and it has expanded my iTunes library a lot!
