Item:
A Dyson Vacuum cleaner - I really need a new one, and I have allergies. Bike shorts - Given by an Ex. Unprompted, they really thought about the gift and gave from the heart. A bike x2- This is my main transport. 'Give a kid a bike, and they will get themselves from sports practice, music lessons and school'. No longer have the first one (sold it for a case of beer), but I ride my new one all the time. Books!! - Took me years to learn to read, even more to get the confidence to read harder books. I now have 2 degrees in science (A LOT OF READING). I'm a bit particular about topics, but I like to read. Personal: Parents - to have learning difficulties is hard, to support someone with them is harder (esp when methods are still being worked out by the professionals). Everyone together for Christmas. Partners and children; and all being welcome. The first time a patient and his family said thank you to me (as they were leaving) and really meant it. He however returned a few days later unconscious and died a week later. |
