My hospital pays $1.00/hour to precept a new grad in our PICU.
How about your facility?

My hospital, known as The Greatest Hospital In the World, pays zip,zero,nothing, for the extra work. The nurses at my hospital work for Mr. Grinch.

I get paid by knowing that my preceptee will be a strong and confident ethical nurse and the world of health care will be a better place for my involvement and this is all I ask.
