Hi there guys and dolls! My name is Lisa but everyone here in Kentucky calls me Boston! I am originally from Massachusetts but somehow landed here south of the Mason-Dixon line. Great to be here. Looking forward to chatting with you guys. Rock on!

Welcome. When you have a moment, please tell us more about yourself and about the work you do as an ER nurse in a Trauma Level 1 facility.
Thanks. Joy |

Hi Boston! Welcome to Nursing Voices. By the way, I love your nickname. It's cute. I can't wait to read more about your life in the land of corn bread and grits

Welcome to Nursing Voices...I feel weird welcoming someone, since I'm new too.
But! I have a question! What do you like about being a nurse in the ER? What do you dislike? And why should I work in the ER? I may or may not be spending the last 6 weeks of my educational career working full-time in an ER (for no pay, I might add), and I'm trying to get an idea of what it's like. Thanks!
