Thumbs up Hello...Happy to have found you!

Hello Nursing Voices, I am an RN who works in Medical Imaging. I have also worked on med/surg and ob/gyn and HH which I still do one day per week.

Welcome, Dutchie! I am happy right along with you. Nursing Voices is a fine place in which to discuss ideas, relate experiences, and gain new insight into the profession of nursing.

Looking forward to seeing you here often.

Joy

ja ik was geboren in Nederland, wij immigreerden toen ik een klein kind was. I have my immediate family here, my extended family is all in Holland. I still speak fluent Dutch with my family, writting it is a little difficult for me. Reading Dutch is easy for me. Looking forward to more posts with you also. Are you also a transplanted Nederlander or are you still in Holland?

Red face

Transplanted as well, we immigrated in 1986 initially to California, then to the east coast of Canada, and right now I'm on the west coast and my parents live in the States again. For me I'm still fluent in dutch to a degree (I've actually had to use it when I worked on the surgical floor!-lots of Dutch families around here) and have no problem reading or writing it. Where in the US are you? Have a great day
