Hello everyone!

My name is Cerise. I am a 20 year old from Sault Ste Marie, ON, Canada deciding to go back to my gut instinct of nursing. I started my health care courses in high school but slacked off and never got my chemistry credit so I gave up on myself and took business in college instead. I graduated my 2 year business with honors but am far from happy with it. It is not what I want to do with my life. I took a year off to 'find myself' and decided that there was nothing I wanted to do more than get back on track with my nursing so here I am. This September I begin my Pre-Health Sciences course, followed by the collaborative Bachelor of Science in Nursing course with co-op/placement. I couldn't be happier that I am back on track.

I stumbled onto this site and figured it would be the best place for advice, tips and answers to some questions!!

I have narrowed myself down to a couple of areas of the nursing field I would like to work in. Either Labor and Delivery or Postpartum without a question.

So there is my mini introduction. Any questions?

Hi Cherry. Welcome to Nursing Voices. I'm glad that you stopped by. I'm happy to hear that you want to be a nurse. We need all the nurses we can get.

I know there will be plenty of work and ups and downs but I love a challenge, work great under pressure and cannot wait to start! The harder the struggle the greater the reward in the end!!!

Hi Synjones, welcome to NV. Is the 'Iowa Drug Addiction' site yours? You must also know johndisoja21 who has also posted today. It appears that he/she is from Florida, as he/she is advertising the same site as you, just for a different state!
