Default Greatings from a PA nurse

I usually don't blog. However, I am interested in sharing ideas and encouraging new nurses.

I've been around for quite a while. I did team nursing in the mid 70's. That was on an orthopedic floor. Then I did 21 years in the Intensive Care unit. After doing some school nursing, clinical educator, and home health nursing, I ventured into the ED. After 30+ years, I have the fortunate opportunity to be a Quality nurse.

These are frustrating and difficult times. I think it is up to us as nurses to speak up and encourage change. We need to be open to new ideas. We need our practice to be research based.

I'm always available to help students or new nurses. Just give me a ring.
