Having no idea on the particulars of the matter - I'll give you my opinion anyhow!
A book which highlights nursing issues and where problems lie is good for nursing. It is not good for someone who runs that business. You were fired by the administration - not by the profession. Your next employer will possibly be aware of your ability (and willingness) to write it how it is - and therefore you are likely to get employed by someone who has nothing to fear as they have nothing to hide. Those employers are rare but the best to work for. You have just provided yourself with possibly the best 'self-selecting' employer selection process platform ever. Think of the publicity you can get out of this for the book! Go NATIONAL gal - "Nurse sacked for telling it how it is - Read what got her fired here!" (Sell the story to the press and allow them to print half a chapter or so - it's great opportunity for (?inter-)national publicity. Good luck! |

Great to see you here. Your book is on my desk. I hope to start it soon.
