Blog Help
Hi all,
I've been blogging as PixelRN for over two years now. I've used blog.com at first and then Shane (the administrator here) had me set up at nursingvoices.com back when it was a nurse blog network. I now run pixelrn.com on my own domain using wordpress. I also have a little bit of tech savviness in my background so if anyone needs any advice or help with web stuff feel free to drop me a line!

No problem, Jess, I would be glad to help. As far as I'm concerned the more nurse bloggers there are, the better. I think nurse bloggers are the most effective at communicating to the general public exactly what it's like to be a nurse.

Pixel, your blog on PixelRN about "feeds" was fantastic. I now can go to my Google Reader and read just the blogs that have been updated instead of going through my entire list of favorites to see if they have been updated.

A Really Simple Guide to RSS feeds BTW, I just realized that Nursingvoices.com has a feed for user activity. I just subscribed to it so hopefully I will be reminded to drop by here more often.

Hey Pixel----have been meaning to add a link from my blog to your post about RSS feeds.
Actually had a Medic I work with (my young Padawan Learner) ask me what they were while at work last night...pulled up your post and suggested he read it!!!  Thanks for making my life a bit easier.

It's great that there are so many bloggers on here. Very helpful and I'll definitely ask for help in the near future if I decide to set up a blog!
