Question Alright techies...

A while ago I set up Google Reader with everyone's blogs so I can keep up to date with what's going on in the bloggisphere.

My question is, if people are reading my blog on the Reader, and they want to comment, is the only way they can do that is to go to my blog itself? How can I set up my blog to submit comments through the reader, making it less of a hassle to comment? I noticed some people doing that already, but they aren't using a blogspot address.

Thoughts?

Elaine

I have no idea... I was hoping someone else would answer your question, because I'm curious about this as well.

Anyone?

As far as I know, you actually have to go to the blog to comment. I've never seen a reader that let you comment right from there, but then there are hundreds of different readers out there too.

I think the ability to even have the link to the comments is a part of the blog template you use. On Wordpress (what I use) some templates have the comment link at the end and some don't. I don't think Blogger has it.

If you're talking about the ability to actually write the comment in the reader, I've never seen that ability. I only use the Google reader though, and it might be possible with another reader (either online or application).

So, if it's the former, you might check out the templates that have that link, and snip that portion to use on your blog. If it's the latter, move along and nothing to see here....

Yes - they have to click on your post in reader, which will take them to your site where they can comment.
