P/J will become famous soon enough

I might be coming to this from the wrong direction. But there is a company in the US which helps Australian nurses bridge into the American system including siting the NCLEX. They provide contacts, some classes on what is covered in the NCLEX and then they organise for you to sit it. I don't know if this is an option for you living so close.

At the moment we can only be registered in one state and if we change we have to change registration. I think every registration agency would be similar world wide and require you to pay to keep your registration up. So I would think it to be better to wait to see if you need the NCLEX before you pay to sit it and register each year.
