Hello,

My name is Karen and I need some advice in reference to Oncology Nursing. I am interested in attending Oncology seminars in addition to studying for the certification test next year. Can anyone recommend upcoming seminars and/or study material that you found beneficial? thanks!

Hi Karen and welcome to NV

I'm not sure where you are so I've sourced a few seminars...

I think you're too late for the 4th Congress of African Oncology Institute on 23 January - 25 January 2009, Sabratha (Libya)

but you might make the 11th National Breast Care Nurses (http://calendarnew.uicc.org/calendar.php?topics=&d=2009-02&countries=&id=1371) Conference
11 February - 13 February 2009, Melbourne (Australia)

failing that, you could plan ahead for Priming knowledge in liver cancer across disciplines (http://calendarnew.uicc.org/calendar.php?topics=&d=2009-09&countries=&id=1502). 3rd ILCA annual conference from 4 September - 6 September 2009, Milan (Italy)

Or perhaps the Target therapies on Cancerology (http://calendarnew.uicc.org/calendar.php?topics=&d=2009-10&countries=&id=1520) 14 October - 15 October 2009, Constantine (Algeria)?

Not forgetting the 20th Asian Pacific Cancer Congress (http://calendarnew.uicc.org/calendar.php?topics=&d=2009-11&countries=&id=1417)
12 November - 14 November 2009, Tsukuba (Japan)looking at Cancer Control, Generating Unique Asian Pacific Contributions.

If you need driving directions to any of these, please let me know.

Please remain in your seat. Someone sensible will be along shortly. :eating:

Yes I am.

As for directions.

It all depends on where you're starting from and to be honest I wouldn't start that journey from where you are. You're much better going from somewhere else.
Leaves on the road and the wrong sort of snow and all that.
