Default Question about becoming a CRNA...?

I am interested in becoming a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. I have a couple of questions about pursuing this career option.

I know some colleges require you to have 5+ years working in the Acute Care setting before you will even be considered for the program, but can this experience be excluded if I am already an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner?

Also, what are some good schools for Nurse Anesthesia? I have read USNews and News Report's list of the best, but I would prefer someone who has first-hand knowledge.

Thanks. Please do not be rude, as I am just trying to find out some important details.
