Default Acuity Scoring

Just seeing what everyone uses to measure acuity. We are currently using a TISS form. We're really not happy with it and I just wanted to get some new ideas.

I vaguely remember acuity scoring from my days in the ICU; but now that I am in the ER it's more like.........."Man, you look terrible, let's go right back." How's that for an acuity scale?

Unfortunately the Hospital I worked at didn't do much by way of scoring acuities. Telemetry patients were factored in sometimes.

See why I left?
