The Emergency Room was my favorite, there was never a dull moment.

I shadowed a nurse in the ER and she said the same thing. She was actually going to stop nursing because she found it so boring but then she decided to go to the ER. I'm not too sure if the ER is the place for me, but I have plenty of time to figure it out.

Thumbs up

I'm hoping I'll like the ER! Still a student, and have yet to find my niche.

Me too! I think I'll definitely hop around here and there before I settle down, there's so many areas to go in to!

Unhappy My Favorite Job...err, nursing that is....

I have to say being on the open heart/heart transplant team at CCF. Although, I hate the pay, the politics, the demeaning, the lack of professional empowerment, the insults, and management, (geez, this isn't looking good)
I LOVE the pace, the high tech, and the actual surgical procedures are awesome. It also helps that I am very good, hell, I'm GREAT at what I do!(Hence, the cardiacbitch)
I love scrubbing cases, especially emergencies when they come crashing through the door and every movement, every step has to the right one to save a patients life!
I love cardiac surgery!
