Default Advice

I am starting on my path to become a Certified Nurse-Midwife and i am wondering if it is worth going to a 4 year college to obtain a BSN or if it is faster, cheaper and enough to go through a ladder program for LPN-RN at a city college before entering midwifery school. I know that i want to be a midwife but i do want the experience of being an RN. This is my second career and i want to be as smart and efficient with my education as i can. Any info or advice you experienced nurses have would be greatly appreciated. I am so happy to have found this site and look forward to joining the ranks of nursing one day soon!

Thanks again,
Gwen

Default welcome

you'll find some others have asked similar questions in other posts if you search you will find some ideas. I live in the wrong country to help but I have been to Seattle. I love Seattle, and have some friends there one of whom went to community college to get an RN degree and has now finished his BN. Welcome and Best of luck with the planning
