Talking New To Forum

Hi there guys and dolls! My name is Lisa but everyone here in Kentucky calls me Boston! I am originally from Massachusetts but somehow landed here south of the Mason-Dixon line. Great to be here. Looking forward to chatting with you guys. Rock on!

Welcome. When you have a moment, please tell us more about yourself and about the work you do as an ER nurse in a Trauma Level 1 facility.

Thanks.

Hi Boston! Welcome to Nursing Voices. By the way, I love your nickname. It's cute. I can't wait to read more about your life in the land of corn bread and grits

Keep on writing

Welcome to Nursing Voices...I feel weird welcoming someone, since I'm new too.

But! I have a question!

What do you like about being a nurse in the ER? What do you dislike? And why should I work in the ER? I may or may not be spending the last 6 weeks of my educational career working full-time in an ER (for no pay, I might add), and I'm trying to get an idea of what it's like.

Thanks!
