Post Pre-nursing school questions

I'm not sure if I should be on this forum because I'm not even a nursing student but I was hoping to get some perspective into my situation...

I am currently a 3rd year in UCSB for Sociology but I want to go into nursing school afterwards. I don't think my grades will get me into a Entry level masters program, which I hoped for, because I didn't do well on my statistics class the first time around. I was wondering what other options I have because I really want to become a nurse specialized in midwifery. I know theres a lot of paths and I was wondering what would be the most probable with my status? Should I drop out and try to get into a RN program at a community college or...?
